Your host Roberto Ercolani comes to Sarasota from Rome, Italy, bringing the best and most delicious authentic Italian dishes to this area. He has been in the restaurant business since his youth. As owner of CasAntica, Roberto provides a refined and unique Italian culinary boutique atmosphere.
The restaurant occupies a 1926 historic home nestled among the trees on the edge of downtown Sarasota. Patrons may choose indoor or outdoor dining (weather permitting), including our lovely rooftop seating area, tucked in under the branches of the old live oak trees that surround the building. The perfect setting... exclusive, romantic and intimate.

Lobster stuffed Ravioli, served in a creamy tomato sauce with cheese and parsley.
Boneless chicken breast, in a light egg batter sautéed in lemon, butter and white wine.
Thin cut chicken breast, sautéed in a light egg batter and white wine with garlic, oil, wild mushrooms with melted fresh mozzarella cheese.
Deep fried boneless chicken breast, pounded thin with a light breading, finished with a special marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
On the lighter side... Pan sautéed Filet of Sole in a light egg batter with special citronette reduction and light spices.
Local Jumbo Shrimps flash cooked in Cognac, fresh cherry tomato, garlic and extravirgin olive oil, served over sautéed spinach.

Pounded Veal Scaloppine cooked in a white wine reduction with wild mushrooms and some secret spices, fried batter dipped melanzane and a draping of fresh mozzarella cheese.
14 ounce Veal Chop with bone sautéed in Cognac, Portobello mushrooms light creamy sauce, sprinkled with truffle oil.
Pan fried Veal Cutlet thinly prepared with bread crumb based coating topped with special marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
Veal sautéed in butter, lemon, capers, white wine for a light delicious meal.
Scaloppine sautéed to perfection in a light lemon butter white wine sauce.

Probably the best physical layout in Sarasota with food to match. We sat outside in the walled in terrace. Our waitress was outstanding ... Go for special events and romantic dinners.
